Job Description:
The Director, Social Media will be the strategic lead responsible for driving performance, innovation, and execution across three critical digital marketing verticals: paid social, influencer marketing and affiliate.
This role is responsible for recommending integrated paid social, influencer and affiliate programs to meet the business objectives of clients, directly manage day-to-day execution, ensure strategic measurement plans are implemented to track performance against KPIs and utilize social listening to keep a pulse on consumer conversation. You'll collaborate with client service, strategy, activation, and analytics teams to deliver integrated solutions that drive measurable results for clients.
Responsibilities:

Lead paid social strategy and campaign execution across all major platforms.

Build and manage influencer and affiliate programs aligned to client goals.

Recruit, onboard, and maintain partner relationships; ensure proper tracking and compliance.

Optimize campaigns using performance data and platform insights.

Present reporting, trends, and actionable recommendations to clients.

Negotiate with platforms, publishers, affiliates, and influencers to secure value-add opportunities.

Collaborate with account, creative, and analytics teams to deliver integrated plans.

Support new business through research, insights, and strategy development.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.

10+ years in paid social, affiliate, and/or influencer marketing (agency preferred).

Hands-on expertise with major social, influencer, and affiliate platforms.

Strong negotiation and partnership management skills.

Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and presentation abilities.

Experience with Digital Asset Management tools (e.g., Bynder).

Familiarity with DTC, retail, or e-commerce brands.

Our office is located in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. While we maintain a highly flexible work culture for all, our local candidates are encouraged to use our updated office space in Sandy Hook, CT which allows you to take part in our office culture and team development that naturally occurs in office. In addition, if you need to take a break from work, there is a beautiful waterfall and serene stream just outside our front door.
