Job Description
This entry-level position is a great opportunity for a recent college grad, or someone with internships or prior work experience. Account Coordinator responsibilities are comprised of executing and managing a variety of tasks on behalf of our client's media efforts. Their primary role is to assist Associate Planners and Account Planners in the research, planning, and execution of media plans. Responsibilities will vary in scope depending on the specific account assignments but will likely include some of the following:
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning/buying of television, radio, print, outdoor, and digital media for our national and regional clients with focus on execution and getting approved buys into our systems
- Communicate with vendors to gather information on pricing, deadlines, materials specs, etc.
- Develop/maintain timelines and closing-date-calendars for ad materials
- Create insertion orders to secure media placements via data entry
- Reconcile invoices and address billing issues as needed
- Assist in media and consumer research for plan development as needed
- Maintain campaign flowcharts and budgets
- Establish and maintain strong agency relationships
- Collaborate with the internal teams (e.g. Activation, AdOps and Analytics) on joint projects and cooperatively work with the Account Strategy team
Skills & Characteristics:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Related coursework, internships or prior work experience a plus
- Detail-oriented critical thinker with strong quantitative skills
- Strong communication capabilities for both internal and external dialogue
- Good time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Positive, glass half-full attitude!
This is an entry-level position with the opportunity for advancement within the organization.
Our office is located in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. While we maintain a highly flexible work culture for all, our local candidates are encouraged to use our updated office space in Sandy Hook, CT which allows you to take part in our office culture and team development that naturally occurs in office. In addition, if you need to take a break from work, there is a beautiful waterfall and serene stream just outside our front door. Candidates for this position must be available to work in our Newtown, Connecticut office a minimum of two days per week. Our office hours are 8:30am-5:30pm.
